Artificial intelligence has emerged as a key part of modern educational systems, revolutionizing the ways in which we teach and learn. AI-driven technologies are helping to develop personalized learning experiences, automate administrative tasks, and improve the effectiveness of digital education Nevertheless, issues such as ethical implications, accessibility, and technological adaptability continue to be significant concerns. Therefore, this study will examine the role of artificial intelligence in optimizing the efficiency of educational platforms, identify key AI-based technologies, investigate challenges faced by educations and students, and evaluate the effectiveness of AI-enabled personalized learning experience. The study thus offers a holistic insight into the potential and limits of AI in the education sector through exploring these different perspectives. It employs a mixed-methods research design including a systematic literature review, online surveys, and expert interviews. In order to establish a theoretical foundation, peer-reviewed articles from Scopus, Web of Science, MDPI, and SpringerOpen between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed. Surveys obtained data from educators and students who interacted with AI-Powered Educational tools, whereas interviews with AI experts and education technologists have given perspective from the ground up about use cases and trends. The results showed that ChatGPT excels at improving academic writing skills, while Duolingo and Memrise help to build vocabulary and listening comprehension. MagicAI stands out for providing personalized learning experiences. Overall, this suggests that both AI platforms help provide positive development in the areas of language skills. The usefulness of this study comes from presenting an overview of popular AI tools as well as practical advice for language teachers. This research explores combined impact of multimedia integration and AI-driven feedback on the clarity, depth as well as overall quality of the academic writings provided for online courses of non-language major students offered by learning Design and Leadership (LDL) program of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) through CGScholar (Common Ground Scholar) platform. The LDL designed online courses require all participants to complete a writing task and each writing project is expected to include at least seven multimedia elements as a key component. We focused on five selected writing projects of the EPOL 580 FA 24 course community, analyzing how multimedia elements such as videos, tables, infographics, and images (including AI-generated ones) supported writing quality. We used a qualitative content analysis, using coding approach to explore the way multimedia elements contributed to clarity, depth, and engagement in writing. This included mapping multimedia, categorizing their role within the text, and identifying patterns and themes. Our findings suggest that multimedia and AI integration strengthens academic writing by adjusting complex concepts, providing visual evidence for arguments, and maintaining reader engagement. Moreover this study highlights the potential of CGScholar to foster multimodal literacy and offer valuable insights for educators and curriculum designers to incorporate multimedia in the digital learning environment.

This systematic literature review addresses the growing integration of AI-assisted writing tools in applied linguistics and language education, with a particular focus on their role in scholarly writing. The primary problem explored in the study concerns the dual nature of AI’s impact: while it holds promise for improving writing quality and accessibility, it simultaneously raises pedagogical, ethical, and methodological concerns. The aim of the review is to provide a comprehensive understanding of how AI writing tools—particularly grammar checkers like Grammarly and generative models such as ChatGPT—are influencing academic writing practices among second language (L2) writers and educators. The review follows PRISMA 2020 guidelines and analyzes peer-reviewed publications from 2020 to 2025 across journals such as Journal of Second Language Writing, RELC Journal, and International Journal of Applied Linguistics. It synthesizes findings from over 30 studies using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches. The results reveal that AI tools significantly improve grammatical accuracy, writing efficiency, and student confidence, especially among novice academic writers. However, the review also identifies major challenges, including overreliance, superficial engagement with content, ethical ambiguity regarding authorship, and inconsistencies in the tools’ feedback. Notably, the review highlights a lack of longitudinal studies and critical AI literacy training. The study concludes that while AI-assisted writing can enhance academic writing development, its effectiveness depends on critical, guided implementation. The findings are significant for informing teaching practices, developing academic writing curricula, and establishing institutional guidelines for the ethical and pedagogical use of AI in education.

Today, the need for English language skills is growing day by day. This need indicates an increase in demand for qualified specialists. However, the inconvenience of the learning environment prevents qualified professionals from using their knowledge correctly. It should be noted that the state of rural schools creates difficulties in creating a high-quality learning environment for students during the English language training period. Accordingly, this negatively affects the formation of teachers' professional identity. In this regard, the purpose of this research paper is to analyze a set of flexible methods for rural schools with young English teachers. To conduct the research, interviews were conducted with young English teachers in 5 (five) rural schools. The research methodology consisted of qualitative, in particular, semi-structured interview questions. As a result of the study, teachers noted the high need for special methods in rural schools and showed that the analyzed teaching aid simplifies the learning process accordingly. However, it was noted that this training manual has been prepared for rural schools in Kazakhstan and is differentiated according to the level of education of students. In conclusion, we can say that this research work was able to clearly identify the needs of English language teachers in rural schools.

The article presents a systematic review of modern approaches to the identification and development of giftedness in schoolchildren, based on an interdisciplinary analysis of cognitive, psychological, pedagogical, and socio-emotional factors. The study was carried out in accordance with the PRISMA protocol and covers publications submitted in international databases (Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, PubMed) over the past 5 years. The review revealed that complex diagnostic models combining cognitive testing, pedagogical observation, self-assessment, analysis of motivation and social characteristics are recognized as the most effective. Special attention is paid to modern theories of giftedness (Renzulli, Sternberg, Gagne models), emphasizing the importance of the interaction of personal and environmental factors. It is noted that there is a need to move from static identification to dynamic support of gifted students within the framework of individualized educational routes. The purpose of the article is to conduct a systematic review of modern scientific approaches to the identification and development of giftedness in schoolchildren. Tasks: -To determine the criteria for the inclusion of scientific publications for a systematic review on the topic of identifying and developing giftedness in schoolchildren. -To conduct a systematic search and selection of relevant research in international scientific databases. -Analyze and classify modern scientific approaches to the diagnosis and development of giftedness, summarize the results of empirical and review studies, identify trends and effective practices in identifying and supporting gifted students. The results of the review can serve as a scientific and practical basis for improving diagnostic and support systems for gifted schoolchildren in both mass and specialized education.

The article analyses the validity, reliability and discriminant validity of test questions for students enrolled in Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools in Kazakhstan. In addition, the study uses classical test theory and item response theory methods. The advantages and disadvantages of testing were analysed by collecting questionnaires from students and teachers. The study employed a quantitative psychometric design to evaluate item difficulty, discrimination, and internal reliability among students of School №171 (n = 65). The instruments of our research are NIS English section (20 multiple-choice items, Q41–Q60) Teacher/student questionnaires (based on 5-point Likert scale). Psychometric assessment focused on reliability, item quality and content alignment. NIS exams show high reliability 0.89 which means good psychometric standards. The article also focused on the content and statistical aspects of the tests, assessing their equality and fairness. The results of this study are used to develop psychometric tests for the development of educational psychology, as well as to develop psychometric tests based on the results of the study.

В данной статье освещается развитие научной грамотности будущих педагогов физики через внедрение элективного курса «Культура радиационной безопасности». Актуальность темы связана с увеличением технологических рисков в мире и необходимостью критически подходить к ним. Планы строительства атомных электростанций в Казахстане также определяют актуальность развития культуры радиационной безопасности в обществе. Особое внимание уделяется формированию у будущих педагогов физики исследовательских умений, навыков анализа и интерпретации данных, а также развитию ответственного отношения к вопросам ядерной и экологической безопасности. В качестве методологической основы используется подход «образование через науку», который ориентирован на формирование когнитивных, личностных и социальных компетенций XXI века. Данная работа носит обзорно-аналитический характер. В статье представлена структура курса, основанная на модели-пирамиде обучения, которая включает последовательные этапы: погружение в контекст (контекстуализация), формирование базовых знаний и их применение в новом контексте (реконтекстуализация) посредством принятия решений и осуществления поведенческих действий. Внедрение курса способствует формированию культуры радиационной безопасности, развитию критического мышления и подготовке будущих педагогов к работе в условиях современного общества риска.

В статье рассматривается феномен межкультурной компетентности, понимаемой как совокупность когнитивных, аффективных и поведенческих способностей, обеспечивающих эффективное и уважительное взаимодействие с представителями других культур. Особое внимание уделяется определению понятия «подход» в развитии межкультурной компетентности, которое в контексте межкультурного образования трактуется как концептуальная рамка, включающая теоретические основания, методы формирования компетентности, ценностные ориентиры и ожидаемые результаты, закреплённые в национальной или институциональной практике. На основе анализа международного опыта исследуются различия между подходами, применяемыми в США, Великобритании, Франции, Германии, Японии и Китае. Показано, что мировые подходы развиваются в разных направлениях — от поведенчески-коммуникативных и критических до лингвокультурных, когнитивно-рефлексивных и гуманистически-этических, что отражает культурную специфику и образовательные традиции соответствующих стран. В завершение предпринята попытка концептуализировать казахстанский подход, который формируется в условиях полиэтничности, языковой политики и процессов интернационализации, но пока остаётся несистемным. На основе сравнительного анализа предлагаются ключевые элементы возможной национальной модели межкультурной компетентности, включающие интегративный, гражданский и рефлексивный компоненты.
